Managing Director – Head of Oil&Gas, Project and Structured Finance, Gazprombank

Roman Sukhonosov joined Gazprombank as a Director in the Project & Structured Finance Department in April 2007. In his current position as Managing Director and Head of Oil and Gas team in Project & Structured Finance Department in of he is responsible for lending and advisory mandates covering oil and gas, petrochemical industry and oil and gas pipeline projects.
Before joining Gazprombank, Roman had been working at RPFB Project Finance (former Russian Project Finance Bank) for eleven years where he was advising Gazprom and other Russian and international companies on their large scale projects with a focus on asset-based and limited recourse financing. He participated as an advisor in practically all major financing transactions of Gazprom, from ECA covered credit transactions though syndicated structured facilities to complex project finance loans like Gastransit, Blue Stream and Nord Stream projects.
Prior to RPFB Project Finance, Roman worked at investment banking division of Troika Dialog where he was involved in mergers, acquisitions and restructuring deals.
Roman has an MBA degree from California State University (1997) and a bachelor degree from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering (1993).
